As the "idea man" for the team, Sokka plays a huge role in getting Aang and his sister Katara safely through the Earth Kingdom. From convincing hundreds of people that they have been infected by a disease and taming fierce badger-moles to coming up with a plan to defeat the Fire Nation, Sokka plays the role of hero well. But he's also forced to look inward, especially when he reunites with his father.
